A SERIES OF WELL DESIGNED ROOMS

Conceived as a surrealist fantasy landscape, this garden contains a special "Room of Ornamental Grasses" which allows the viewer to lie on a giant wooden altar, surrounded by beautiful, towering invasive grasses.  When the wind blows, the Ravennae cuts the viewer- its blades like razors.  This Room of Ornamental Grasses is also known as a Torture Chamber and different, unplanned versions can be found across America in our ditches, wetlands and parks.
